Ingredients:
For the cake:
250g flour
200g sugar
4 eggs
80 ml milk
80 ml liquid cream
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
different food coloring to color the dough
For the chocolate icing:
2 tbsp. unsweetened bitter cocoa
3 tbsp. milk
25 g icing sugar
colorful confetti chocolate for decoration
Preparation:
Prepare the dough for the cake:
Preheat the oven to 150 ° C.
Separate egg whites from yolks.
Weigh an empty bowl and note its weight somewhere.
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar in the bowl until the mixture whitens.
Add the milk, vanilla, sifted flour, baking powder and cream.
Beat the egg whites until they are stiff and fold them gently into the preparation using a spatula.
Weigh the bowl filled with the dough and subtract the weight of the bowl to get the total weight of the preparation.
Divide preparation into seven equal amounts in seven containers.
Colour the different dough using food colors (red, orange, yellow, green, sky blue, dark blue and purple …).
Pour the first colored dough in the center of a silicone cake pan.
Continue with the second pastry dough and then the third, etc. etc., always pour into the center for a nice target.
Bake for about 35 minutes.
Let cool before unmolding onto a serving platter.
Prepare the chocolate icing:
Heat up the milk with the cocoa and the icing sugar in a pan until a homogeneous liquid.
Pour the icing on the surface of the cake and decorate with chocolate confetti.
Wait until the chocolate is hard and store at room temperature.
Serve chilled.
