Panzanella

Ingredients (6 servings):

1 kg of tomatoes
2 onions
200 g of bread (old)
1 bunch fresh basil
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
salt

Preparation:

Dice the bread. Roast it in the oven. Set aside.

Clean and cut the tomatoes into quarters.

Peel and finely chop the onion.

Clean and chop the basil.

Mix the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt in a bowl.

Add the tomatoes, onion, bread and the chopped basil and mix well.

Refrigerate until serving.
