Ingredients: (For around 90 pieces)
300 g flour
80 g grounded hazelnuts
100 g sugar
200 g butter, softened
1 packet of vanilla sugar
2 egg yolks
100 g jam
Preparation
Mix all ingredients (besides of the jam) to a smooth dough and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Form little balls, a bit larger in size than big marbles, from the dough. Press a slight hollow into the middle of each of those dough balls (using a wooden spoon handle) and fill with jam.
Place the Husarenkrapfen on a baking sheet, with some distance between them (they will still rise a bit). Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
