Ingredients (6 servings):
6 fresh figs, cut into wedges
3 eggs
60 g sugar
60g flour
300 ml milk
1 tsp vanilla (extract)
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Lightly grease a baking dish and then arrange the figs in it.
Beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl until the mixture is pale and doubled in volume.
Add the flour and beat until smooth.
Add milk and vanilla and pour over fruit.
Put the clafoutis in the oven and bake for 35 minutes until golden brown.
Let stand 20 minutes because the clafoutis is usually served warm rather than hot.
