Ingredients (4 servings):
500g ground beef
2 tablespoons water
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1 jar pasta sauce (680g)
400 g spaghetti, cooked and drained
2 tbsp. dried onions
1 tsp dried garlic
2 tbsp. dried basil
Salt
Pepper
Preparation:
Mix thoroughly ground beef, water, bread crumbs, onions, garlic, basil, salt pepper and egg. Shape firmly into 12 (2-inch) meatballs. Arrange the meatballs in a 2-quart microwavable baking dish.
Microwave on 600V for 5 minutes or until they’re cooked through. Pour off any fat. Stir the sauce in the dish. Cover. Microwave for 3 minutes or until hot. Serve over the spaghetti.
