Peas Cappuccino with crispy bacon

Ingredients (4 servings):

500g peas (fresh or frozen)
1 onion
250 ml liquid cream
Salt and pepper
4 thin slices of smoked bacon

Preparation:

Put the diced onion in a pan together with the peas, add salt and pepper. Pour water so that it just covers the vegetables. Cook for 20-25 minutes.

Arrange the bacon slices in a baking pan and bake them at 180 degrees. When they are golden brown, remove them and place them on a paper towel. Let them cool.

Add some salt to the cream and prepare whipped cream.

Using a blender, purée the soup until smooth.

Pour the soup into pretty glasses, top with whipped cream and decorate with a slice of crispy bacon.
