Vanilla crème brûlée


Ingredients (for 4-6 persons):

400 ml milk
200 ml liquid cream
vanilla extract
6 egg yolks
60g caster sugar
Vanilla sugar or 1 teaspoon vanilla powder and 4 tablespoon brown sugar

Preparation:

Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the cream and some vanilla extract.

Bring to boil, then turn off the heat and wait for 10 min.

Put the egg yolks in a bowl and add the sugar.

Beat the yolks and sugar, then add the contents of the pan by turning with a spatula.

Pour the mixture in forms and bake them for 45 min.

Then turn off the oven and let stand 10 min: the center might still be liquid, but it will harden.

Remove the creams from oven and let them cool. Then put them in the refrigerator and let cool at least 1 hour.

When ready to serve, remove the creams from the refrigerator and sprinkle them with vanilla sugar.

Put them for 1 minute in the oven set on grill function or 2 minutes in the over preheated at 250 °.
